i didnt charge my iphone last night so the battery died...i guess i had the back light on the whole time...the point is, i didnt know what time it was in the morning. there is no clock in the room (of course)...i didnt want to miss the bus ride to the MIT museum so i got out of bed and i found out that it was 8:20. i slept very well and i didnt have any surprises in the morning.....they have continental breakfast at the hostel but i only had milk and cereal....the trip to the MIT museum was "organized" by the hostel.  all what that meant was that they announced it, printed maps to the bus terminal and told us that it was free on sunday before noon....anyway, i hooked up with an Australian guy, a French girl and and a Korean girl... and we met a Canadian couple at the bus stop.....the two girls didnt speak english and i dont know if i consider the Ausie's language as enlish....he called the gum a chewie...lol

anyway, MIT museum sucks....it is not really a museum....it is called that but it shouldnt be...it is just some old robots that i guess MIT wanted to dispose of and so they put it behind glassed walls for ..... like me (you fill in the blank) to pay and see.....i am glad it was free....it was the best money i never spent...the MIT campus is not so noticable... it is like UofT St.Geroge campus of sort....you know it is there, but you dont know where it begins or end....whatever.

if anybody was going to make a good Boston cream donout, it had to be Boston

i then went to Harvard university which is in Cambridge by the way, not Boston...the two cities are separated by a river.....the city was also very quite....there were more tourists than locals.....i walked around the shops and parks.....nothing spectacular....there is not much life to city outside its Harvard campus....i signed up for a harvard tour.....that was good....i recommend it......it is about an hour long and it is about the history of the university, its architecture, its rivalry with the city, and its role in history........neat stuff.....that was the highlight of the day

i then treated my self for a strawberry lemonade shake from Starbucks....did some reading and writing and then headed back to Boston....oh, i made sure to try a Boston cream from Boston....if anybody was going to make a good Boston cream donout, it had to be Boston.....my conclusion: i dont like boston cream donout.  i got to boston by subway (they call it T). i got off the east side of the city near its harbor.....to my surprise, there was an italian fesitval there....[to those who overplan things, learn to be a bit more spontaneous....good things will come].....there was music, lots of food and very italian looking men [gold necklace, pants up to bellybutton, half buttoned shirts, and very loud.] i ate and then went to the harbor....by the way, the weather today wasnt as great as yesterday....it was cloudy all day and humid...it was very sticky and dark......there harbor front was virtually empty.....Mississauga water front kicks Boston's ass....now you can imagine how bad Boston's harbor front is ;)

near by, Boston has an aquarium place that they advertise for everywhere.....i wasnt going to miss it since it was on the top 5.....it was alright....not that big...cute fish but noting to brag about.....it is like Torontonians bragging about the CN Tower.

anyway, i went back to the hostel.....took a cold shower [it was still hot] and met my new room mates in the room.....he is a ballet dancer from Australia......i didnt feel comfortable around a guy who wants to dance for a living! Anyway, i went down and i saw my Ausie guy from the morning....he was complaining how the beer is not strong at all here....i agreed :p

i watched some Lost episodes (i am officially hooked)...and day 2 is over :)
