This morning, Matthew, Quinn, Reed, Camilla and Salmon went down to His Majesty's Theatre to work out the logistics of moving the pans on and off stage for the performance which started at 7pm. We returned to the residence for a quick lunch. After lunch at about 12:45 everyone headed down to HMT to await our dress rehearsal. After arriving at HMT we pre-setup on the wings of the stage and learned a new song, Auld Lang Syne, which was to be sung and played by all who participated in the concert this evening. While another group was on stage we learned Auld Lang Syne with our fingers.

On the schedule for this concert was Ceol Mor which is a group of auditioned instrumentalists from all over Scotland. They all auditioned and were selected to perform in this band. There were harps, fiddles, bagpipes etc. making up this orchestra. The next group that we shared the stage with was the Aberdeen Youth Theatre. Also hailing from Norway was a group called Viva! On the ballot as well tonight was the national dance group of the Bahamas. They all had spectacular acts! Closing off the show tonight was the Toronto All Stars! Tasso members did a fantastic job of learning Auld Lang Syne on the fly as everyone who performed tonight did a curtain call. We ended it in an upbeat calypso style. It was cool!
Chaperoning is a big job and they're [Deborah and Vicky] passing with flying colours!

It was quite a long day for us. We took up four dressing rooms, where we had light tea (dinner). Attached you will find some pictures of us strolling after we got dressed for the concert, as we had some time to kill as we were last on the program. Everyone looked sharp in their blue, they were all cupids!
We got back from the concert at about 10:30 where most of us ordered pizzas and everyone went to bed at 11:30ish. Tommorow is the parade through the streets where we will all put on our Canada shirts that we travelled on and we will carry the flag etc. At the end of the parade we will be performing. We will learn more but the details of the day at breakfast. It is 1:30 now and everyone is fast asleep except Matthew who is going to bed now...hopefully. We have a fantastic courier and his name is Steve. Deborah and Vicky are holding up. I'm not sure for how much longer but they're doing a fantastic job! They ironed all the clothes for the kids so far, even the smart blue that we wore today! Chaperoning is a big job and they're passing with flying colours! I hope they don't get burned out! Deborah bought everyone ice cream today during the show's intermission as it was Salmon's birthday! I heard it's rain in toronto so at least my plants will be getting wet. The weather is shaky here as well! Hopefully we will have a nice day tommorow. Sometimes even if it's sunny it rains here.
