Guenstige Klamotten und schoene, alte Gebaeude

Guangzhou ist auch unter dem Namen 'Canton' bekannt. Nach Beijing und Shanghai wohl die Stadt, wo verhaeltnismaessig am meisten English gesprochen wird und geschrieben ist. Es liegt etwa eine Stunde von Hong Kong entfernt. Das sehenswerteste ist die 'Shamian Island' (Insel) im  Fluss mit ihren alten europaeischen Gebaueden und die Klamottenlaeden. Denn die meisten Sachen, die 'Made in China' sind werden in Guangzhou produziert und sind somit guenstiger hier. Nach der Shoppingarie in Shanghai konnte ich dann doch aus Gewichtsgruenden mir einreden nichts zu kaufen.

Ich habe bei der Chinesin Loris uebernachtet. Sie hat mich ueberall rumgefuehrt und ich wurde auch nett bekocht. Da gerade Hochsaison ist habe ich auch gleich meine Weiterreise geplant und Tickets gekauft.

Guangzhou also called 'Canton'. is after Beijing and Shanghai probably the city where the most English is spoken and written. It is about an hour from Hong Kong. The most interesting places are 'Shamian Island?and the clothes shops. Lots of stuff 'Made in China' is actually made in Guangzhou that is why the clothes are cheaper here. After the shopping marathons in Shanghai I could talked into me not to buy something because of the weight of my backpack.

I stayed with the Chinese girl Loris. She guided me around and I got some nice homemade food. Because of the holiday season I already planned my next destination and bought some train tickets.
