Greetings from the Gulf of Porto in Porto Corsica.
A very early bus ride of 3 hours took us from Corte to Porto. Driving through the enchanted forest along very very steep cliffs and an extremly narrow road makes one wonder if they have enough life insurance. It was a incredible ride I will never forget.
LANDSCAPES FROM HEAVEN
We did arrive safely to this UNESCO World Heritage protected site, famous for its spectacular sunsets. This seaside resort town is surrounded by high red cliffs and endless majestic granite that spills into the sea.

The sea is intense Blue, and the landscape developed due to a volcano eruption, creating steep cliffs and jagged peaks. It is some of the most spectacular landscape one will ever see with Granite plunging into the sea of every color, size and shape.
Took a day trip via boat to the surrounding region and explored some natural caves, and watched the granite sculptured shoreline turn from orange to red depending on how the sun hit it.
This region is called West Corsica and it's a wonderful display of nature at its best, with beautiful beaches, challenging hikes, fabulous sunsets and incredible vistas.
