Day 153 - A Day Out With Shiela!

We had a bit of a lie in this morning as we were shattered and then we headed out after grabbing as bagel for brekkie and chatting to our parents for a bit! We headed down to Union Square to have a wander and a look in the shops... Suprise suprise!! Lucy got some new jeans but Erin had no luck. We then headed back to the hostel for 1.30pm where we met Sheila (Daddy Dayus' old work friend who lives in San Francisco).

We met with Shiela and her friend Mark and we headed to see Daddy Dayus' old house that he lived in when he worked in San Fran. We then went to Liverpool Lils which is a bar that Daddy Dayus and Shiela used to go to. We then headed over the bridge and to Sausilito. We had a wander there and took some photos and got the yummiest ice cream ever. Then we went to the Marine Headlands and saw the Golden Gate Bridge from above and then we went down so we were level with it. After that we headed across the bridge and took some more photos. Then we drove through the Golden Gate Park and then we went down Haight Street and down to Lombard Street which is the famous 'Wiggly Street' and drove down there. Then Shiela dropped us off as she had to go to a meeting and Mark walked us back to the hostel.

We then got a jumper and headed out for dinner at a nice little Italian that Mark had recommended to us. After dinner we just went back to the hostel and chilled out. We couldn't sleep for ages though so we chatted and checked our emails and then eventually nodded off at about midnight.
