Franconia Notch State Park

Franconia Notch State Park reminded me of visiting the mountains in Poland right when winter had ended. We went to the park after breakfast. Highway 94 goes right through the park and their are exits for all of the sights to see including the now gone, "Old man of the Mountain." See the park's site for details:

We visited the Flume Gorge and took the 2 mile hike to see the waterfalls as well as took the tramway (gondola) to get to one of the mountain peaks. Both charge a fee but you can get a pass for both. We also went for a run on the recreational trail (also great for bikers). more to follow...
