My favorite part of the trip, being a nature lover, was probably the picturesque scenery of Turkey.  Before I left for the trip, I pictured desserts and rocks - I couldn't have been more wrong.  There’s no camera that can capture the breathtaking places we visited.

What was the most remarkable, though, was the contrast.  Hattusa was a lush green mountain valley, Cappadocia was all sandstone and caves, the Mediterranean coast was ... well, the Mediterranean coast.  At one point we could see the beach and snow on the mountaintops at the same time.  Every day was something new, different, and extraordinary.
