Mall of America- Time for fun

Today we were in store for another long drive, but we had reserved a suite close to Mall of America for the next two nights. We finished driving through South Dakota, and into Minnesota. Then it actually got long and boring. Everything here looked pretty much like it did in PA. In other states, there just always seemed to be something different to look at. Not so much here. Which doesn't mean it wasn't pretty, just the same as from home. We stopped for a cache, and then later for a picnic lunch, before arriving at our hotel. After checkin, we each took showers. (except Cassie, she's still holding true to the every other day if not longer shower) Then onto Mall of America. The only store I was really interested in was the scrapbooking store. This mall is layed out like a huge rectangle, with the center being a huge amusement park. There are 3 floors full of stores and the 4th with miscellaneous stuff like a movie theater. We started on the 3rd floor, and I found my scrapbook store right away. Tim and the kids went off to take pictures and check out the amusement area. They came back to get me, but I was only about 1/2 way done. I did get some really cool paper though, and I'm already planning how to do some of the pages. We then started walking the 3rd floor. We stopped for some fries, and then went to walk the 2nd floor. And what did I see in the distance, A Disney Store. I was all over that. It's sad, because I kept asking Cassie if she'd like this or that with Princesses, her answer was always a resounding "NO". Tim and Nick purcased new swimming suits, and we decided to come back tomorrow for floor 1. Back at the hotel we had a meal of fried chicken and baked potatoes. We also opened a bottle of wine and had some cheese. These time changes are messing me up. We just spent the evening watching Men in Black and then the old spoof movie Airplane. I forgot how stupid that movie actually was.
