1st stop

Landed in Madrid with no problems. Actually flew from Liverpool. Went on the Metro to our Hostel and within half an hour of being in Europe I was nearly pickpocketed! Luckily they got nothing. Found our Hostel after heading the wrong way. It was a sweet hostel shared a room with some Potugese who slept ALL the time we were there bar 1 night when they got in later than us. 1st night we went to the local bars with Loz and Dan. Free tapas with Beers is amazing! Somehow we stumbled our way home. 2nd day went to a park where we met a group of Spanish girls who called us over and threw alcohol in our hands. Ended up stayng in the park for 5 hours before deciding to again head for the bars. We were going to try and hit a discloteca but they all seemed to close minutes before we went. Think that night ended in me tryna blag my way into it with crappy spanish 3rd day we decided to do el cultura and headed to the river. Found our way through endless gardens to some crazy church and the palace! Only really went in to the church tryna save moneys! Then to some cafe/bar were me and dan polished off a metre of beer! Back to the hostels for some more beer and then out for some tapas and guess what... more bars! Somehow didnt manage to get into the club once again by minutes. Then it was a quick adios as me and ku were facing a getting up at 8:30 for a train to barcelona. All in all WE LOVE MADRID.
