Once we arrived in Newport, Rhode Island, it was non stop until about midnight. We pulled up in the downtown and loaded onto a touring boat called Amazing Graze. We toured the waters, saw huge expensive boats, and huge expensive homes. We saw the largest privately owned yatch ( $143 million dollars) that is owned by the gentleman that started Netscape. (See Pics)

Then we went straight to our hotel, The Hyatt on Goat island....beautiful!!! We had enough time to find our rooms and then we went straingth to the Clam Bake that the hotel had waiting for us right on the water. I ate my first lobster! (See Pic)

Debbie and I took off after dinner and explored the shops of Newport and finally got to bed around midnight!! There is not any free wifi in my room so i will try to update as often as I can. We are staying here for two nights!

Looks like a beautiful place to be!!!! Don't know that I could have eaten the lobster--too intimidating!!! Looks like you're having a blast. Thanks for taking me along.
