I intend on taking a picture of all the restaurants I go to while i'm here. There are so many vegetarian shops, like 8 on this one street where I went to have dinner the other night. Had this amazing thali, south indian meal - it was absolutely amazing. Best indian I've had here in the UK so far I would say. Took Laurence for dinner there the other night for his birthday it was so good. Leicester has the biggest population of indians outside india I think, or

In 1991, the population of Indian origin formed the largest single ethnic community group in the city, with 22.3% (60,300) of the total population. By 2001, this figure had grown to 25.7% (72,000). This figure ranks Leicester as having the largest Indian population of any local authority area in England and Wales.

There you go, that's from Leicester council statistics information.

It's not a pretty place, but it's livable and much cheaper than London! I'm loving the lifestyle and I've got an allowance for breakfast and dinner so I can sample the local cuisine :) It's a strange feeling having no control whatsoever over the preparation of food. I've noticed I've started getting fussy! I'll pick at things especially with the buffet food.

I'm sure there's more than food to check out in Leiceter though :) I went shopping yesterday and bought myself a new suit. Not before time too. It has a nice modern shopping complex in the city centre and such a breeze compared to shopping in London! You can actually move without banging into people. Got some lovely shoes too from River Island. And Debenhams had a sale, wish I had more money really they've got some really lovely designer clothes going like 70% off. Got a nice suit and a top though I'll take a piccy for you!
