Day 32

Ni Hao!

Just so everyone knows yesterday wasn't exciting enough to get a blog entry so we are starting with June 18, 2009. Today, I went to class in the morning and was able to get a man tou (bread) before class which was so good. Then I went to a noodle place for some lunch where I had a huge lunch. They serve so much at that place. Then I went out and with Wang Zhong Shu for the night. He took me out for tea which was really nice and I even noticed my Chinese improving but unfortunately I do not think I can have a Chinese guy friend because they all are want something more. That is a huge generalization but I am just angry at the moment that even after I told him I wasn't interested, he still persisted. Needless to say, I don't think I'm going to talk to him again. I'm just upset now because after a wonderful night of my Chinese getting better, I find out I can't hang out with him anymore. It's just a little frustrating...and I just wish everyone would stop staring! I like China a lot, but I just feel like a freak here because of my bright blonde hair and blue eyes. This would be fine if no one blatantly stared at me, but I'm really starting to hate the attention. So mom, no I'm not an attention seeker. Haha. Well I have to get started on studying for my test because he brought me back later than I wanted. (Another reason I'm a little angry right now).
