A nice breakfast at the B&B including fresh Strawberries. Left for Cardiff at 10am and went into central Bristol first to look for the suspension bridge. Went across the suspension bridge and made our way to Cardiff via the coast road. Toll bridge going into Wales £5.40, 1.8 miles in length. Arrived at Barcelo Cardiff Angel Hotel, right across the road from the Castle. Checked in at 12.30pm and they gave us a room overlooking the Castle. Beautiful room with a separate lounge area with a couch and chair, coffee table and flat screen tv. Muz is in his element, lots of TV channels. Another good find on expedia.co.nz at $299 NZ for 2 nights including breakfast and 4 star. Unfortunately the Millennium Stadium is closed for tours as there is a concert on Tuesday, Muz very dissapointed. Visited the Cardiff Castle and watched the runners complete the round the castles relay race which an annual event. A brilliant sunny day and nice and hot. Dinner at Whetherspoons.

Monday

Walked to Cardiff Bay approx 40 mins. Joined a sightseeing boat tour around Cardiff Bay, 40 mins and only £4.00. A nice commentary about the Bay. Saw the Kayak course which is currently being made. The whole are is quite new. The are is now fresh water as they have shut it off to the sea, lots of developments. Walked back to town in search of an internet cafe, but it was shut and up for lease. Had a quick look around the shops and brought a new dress!! Had to go and have a look in the first Primark store that I have seen, had a quick look around but couldn't be bothered with the crowds of people and the big wat to try clothes on. The clothes were certainly very cheap.  Went for a drive in the afternoon to Cwmcarn forest. Lots of traffic on our return to the city. At breakfast this morning it was like fautly towers, a funny wiater from Poland, he was running around at 100 miles an hour, picking up plates, talking to people and ordering eggs from the kitchen, you couldn't help but laugh. We left the restaurant when he was busy doing something and next minute when we were waiting for the lift he was out to see us and say see you tomorrow. Had dinner at wetherspoons 2 meals and 2 drinks for £15.00 At the table by us there was a crying drunk, made for an interesting time, needless to say they didn't serve him anymore beer!!!
