Luxury on the beach!

LOBSTER FEST!!! Really, an honest to God lobsterfest. All you can eat lobster, shrimp, chicken, beef, desert, bisque, pasta and most importantly beer and wine :)
So despite the fact that we sat in the car for 5 hours yesterday to get here it really was not a big deal becuase it rained almost all day yesterday. We had a couple stops to see a macaw or two and to grab lunch at the biggest port in Cotsa Rica and sat and watch the massive container ships in the harbor.
When we finally arrive in Playa Herradura (not Jaco.. pronounced hock-o Brian!) the Marriott Los Suenos resort here is simply georgous. Beyond manicured to sculpted are the gardens and the thoughts of golf spring into our heads until we see a few of the fairways that are maybe 25 yards across with no rouch and cars and buildings right beyond them. My shot is NOT that straight!
Actually went to the gym last night and it felt GREAT! I truly need to get back on the exercise kick when I get home it is such a reset button on any of the stresses or strain of the day.
After returning from dinner we opted for a nightcap at the hotel bar which was the sight of the birth of by far the most amazing Mojito I have every had... something to be savored slowly... while Neel and I debated the merits of open American travel and trade with Cuba... someone help we're running out of things to chat about ;)
Finally, the amazing gauntlet of pools below was beconing our names and we went for a late nigth swim to swim through all the connected pools under bridges. Truly relaxing and a great cap on the night.. oh and the rain finally stopped.
Well, Buenos Dias to all but the sun is shining and a morning of frustration trying to stand on a board on the water awaits... this will be fun right :D
