Border Town

We decided to take it easy on our first day of our mini vacation, since Hot Springs (our final destination) is a bit of a drive from Tulsa. We selected Ft. Smith, right on the border of Oklahoma/Arkansas. Our hotel was surprisingly deluxe for a small town like Ft. Smith, and we had a comfortable stay. Lovely balcony room. Pool and work out room--which Matt appreciated. Each time we stay in posh accommodations, we always wonder where hotels get their beds and bedding and why can't ours at home be just as luxurious? Interestingly enough, this hotel provided us the information for purchasing their bedding. Maybe someday we'll upgrade. For now, we'll have to be satisfied with our getaways.
