Vidie, Vegas and the Grand Canyon

Mom arrived for her 2 week visit with us on March 22nd.  She immediately started to soak up the sun and get working on her tan and enjoying the pool at the resort.  We decided to drive to Las Vegas and spent 2 days showing Mom the Vegas sites. We stopped and viewed the Hoover Dam along the way.  Then made our way over to the Grand Canyon. It was windy and cool but fantastic sites.  Not too busy, so a great time to stop at all the viewpoints driving along the South Rim of the canyon. Very windy and cool.  We continued back south, stopping into Sedona. Beautiful red cliffs on the drive into Sedona. No vacancies, so we continued driving back to Casa Grande. 

Hugh & Sue Chalmers drove over from Apache Junction for a visit one day. They are on a 3 month holiday from Salmon Arm, thanks for the visit!

  Pat & Keith Lanphear stopped in to visit us in Casa Grande, on their way from Yuma back to their home and growing family in Abbotsford.  It was really nice to see them and catch up on their recent travels to Hong Kong and Vietnam.
