Had a funny time arriving at our hotel, took us 45 minutes to walk to it after we left the station. What transposed was if we had gone out the next door it would have taken us 2 minutes, we walked and walked and couldn't find our street. At least we were still laughing at the end, all these people told us different ways after Muz was asking them. The map didn't quite equate to the streets.

The Milan station was a magnificent  building, they are currently upgrading it but the original struture is really nice.

Once we found the hotel it was the closest that we have had to the station so far. Just as well as we are leaving at 6am in a couple of days.

We went to Lake Como north of Milan, it was a really nice day trip. Just like Queenstown but on a huge basis, really nice villas obviously owned by the really rich people. Had a really nice meal at a restaurant that an American couple told us about, had to walk down this alleyway up this hill and it was tucked in under the road, really nice meal and lovely people. The train that was a 1hr 10 min ride was only 6.60Euro each return, really cheap we thought, it was a private railway that took you straight to the lake. We caught the ferry that was a hop on and off ferry, but we stayed on it and got off at Belegio a lovely village.

The second day we caught the local sightseeing hop on and off bus around Milan and saw the Dunmo the 2nd largest cathedral in the world.
