Holland was awesome!

Hi everyone, sorry it has taken  so long to update our travel blog as we have been on the go non-stop.

We visited Amsterdam and Rotterdam, The Netherlands for four days (April 13-17th).

More bicycles than people

Pam's brother Pascal and his girlfriend Adriana joined us for a fun four days.  Amsterdam was very fun, and we all loved the city.  It's a big city that is very active and there are more bicycles than people there.

To witness the skill the Dutch people have on their bicycles was incredible.  They ride fast and do not wear helmets, and you often see them chat on their cell phones while weaving through traffic and pedestrians.  The Dutch have a simple elegance about them in the city.  They dress rather plain yet are stylish.

We visited the Heineken Brewrey, the Red Light District, and took a side trip to Rotterdam about an hour away by train and boasts a huge harbor that is 35 kilometers long.  Enjoy the pictures.
