I planned this ski trip for 6 adults and spent a lot of time looking for a place for all of us that was a reasonable price. We were only traveling for a long weekend and a lot of rentals require a week stay. I finally came across a place in Frisco on VRBO.com. The place we ended up with wasn't the place we originally wanted, but the owner has multiple rentals and recommended this one for us: http://www.vrbo.com/116429.

It is a 1 bedroom, 1 loft, 2 bath small condo with a gas fireplace. There is a dishwasher in the well-stocked kitchen. We cooked all our meals while staying in town. The master bedroom is right by the front door and has a queen bed and a TV. There is a pullout couch in the living room that one guest slept on. There were 3 beds in the loft, one pullout futon and 2 twin beds. The second bathroom is upstairs with just a shower, no tub. The bathroom on the main floor has a tub/shower. The owner was planning to upgrade and change things after our stay, so the sleeping arrangements may be a little different now.

The unit is also an end unit and it's equipped with wi-fi. We brought our laptop with us and it was a great way to contact the owner when we had questions, although we did have her phone number as well. The parking spot for the unit was in a parking area under the building. There is a small flat screen TV mounted on the wall and a DVD player. There is also a gas grill on the balcony for warmer weather.

The owner is accessible by email and will respond immediately! We had an issue with hot water right away, but figured out the pilot light had gone out in the hot water heater. We would have contacted her to have it re-lit, but my brother-in-law knew how to do it. Once we re-lit the heater, we didn't have any more problems. The hot water was great. She was informed about the problem by the previous guests and asked us about it as soon as she was aware of the problem.

The clubhouse is right on site with 3 large hot tubs outside, 1 small one inside, and a swimming pool inside. There are locker rooms and showers as well. The large hot tubs were awesome after a day of skiing. They were a little busy in the early evening, but there was always room for everyone! There are also tennis courts on site for warmer weather.
