Day 84 - Swimming With Dolphins!

We all woke up at 7am due to our very very early night. So we got up and packed and then at 8.45am we checked out. We headed to the Pet Porpoise Pools. We got there in time for seal and dolphin kisses at 9.30am and then saw the show at 10am. After the dolphins and seal show we got to feed the penguins. Then we had a bit of lunch and sat in the sun which was so nice. The weather was amazing today.

Then it was 12.50pm and time to go SIMMING WITH DOLPHINS! So we got briefed and by about 1.10pm we were in the water and stroking and hugging a dolphin. It was amazing. We got to play with her and feed her and got told all sorts about dolphins. It was the best afternoon. Then at 2pm time was up and we were out fo the water. We then sat in the sun for a bit longer and chatted about how amazing it was and then we headed back to the hostel. At the hostel Erin showered and Lucy and Emma went for ice cream. We then went and laid on the beach for a bit. Lucy had all wet bikinis but has a bra that looks like a bikini and happened to be weering underwear that matched and so sunbathed in her underwear. At 4pm after catching some rays we headed back to the hostel and jumped on the shuttle to the coach stop. The bus was running 30 minutes late.

We finally got on at 5.15pm and set off for Byron bay. When we were getting off the bus a girl Lucy and Emma had met in New Zealand got off and so we said hi etc. She was feeling very homesick as is travelling by herself and so was a bit emotional. We made a dinner stop and got battered sausages and then saw a truck fire. We arrived in Byron bay at 9pm and headed to the hostel. We checked in and then went for a wander around the town. We had a look what was what but we were all shgattered and so headed ot bed at about 11.30pm.
