Hey ya'll!!  Wow...what a fun packed Easter weekend!!  Where to start...a day at the Rosborough's is always a good place.  Tracy and I walked Lucy over to Ben and Nadean's house and came across some interesting roadkill.  Intrigued, I wandered closer thinking it was a racoon...I was soooo wrong.....it was a skunk and by the time I'd realised, I got a face full.  Peeeuuuwww!!  It took a while for me to get that stench out of my nostrils!!

On a lighter note, I did experience French toast for the first time - mmm mmmm.  You should really try it with mayo too...a definite must!  I'm experiencing so many new taste sensations its great!  After breakfast we proceeded to the local Easter egg hunt.  Man, I was sooo not prepared for that.  Ben did try to warn me about the crazy Americans, but I had no idea!!  Rachel did manage to scoop a few eggs, but there were lots of 'naughty' kids picking up more eggs than they should have.  It was an experience, and I did get my picture taken with a nervous Easter Bunny!!  Woohoo!!

I did get my picture taken with a nervous Easter Bunny!!

So, after the adventures in the woods, we got back to the Rosborough household and spent the arvo in the garden.  It was so good to be out in the fresh air and making myself useful.  We also worked together to put the new trampoline.  That was fun!!

That evening, Dan treated us to his Lemon Sticky Chicken...my goodness that was a gorgeous meal!!  Check out the photograph!!

The next day was Easter Sunday and Tracy and I took a lovely drive out on a bright sunny morning through beautiful countryside to the Redeemer Fellowship church in St Charles.  Dan was playing on stage and it was my first sighting of the full Alcantara clan!  Woohoo!  After the service, we all piled over to the Alcantara household for a brilliant roast dinner feast.  It was the best!  After bellies were filled we stuck on a film and chillaxed...was awesome!

The next day was a total chill out for Tracy and I.  Unfortunately, she had a migraine, but it meant that I had her to myself all day - Yay me!!  I spent the time catching up on my journal, doing a bit of reading and generally slipping into vacation mode proper.  Dan and I went out to fetch dinner at Panda Express and I had THE best Orange Chicken ever!!

There's still so much to tell...but I don't want to give it all away just yet...am looking forward to telling you about the unfortunate adventures with an exploding dishwasher and burnt rubber gloves...I have never laughed so much!!

Until next time dudes!! x x
