Beach time, Kayaking and more beach time at Sanibel Island!!

Sanibel is so pretty. That pretty much sums it up - from bike friendly trails, to pretty beaches, fun restaurants and lots of wildlife, this is a great place to vacation with your family. It's pretty quiet otherwise, and meant for people who want to slow down and have a relaxing time.

We took day trips from Cape Coral, and because there is only one road into the island, there's usually traffic. It's well worth the pretty drive in though, but would be great to just stay on the island while you are in the area.

We went to the beach in Captiva one day, drove to JN Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge to go kayaking (without kids) on another day, and back to the beach in Santibel on our last full day.
