The overnight train......hilarious....

We left Udaipur around 9pm to head to the train for the overnighter to Jaipur.  Now, I had visions of mice running around etc. as per the previous train trip but this train was absolutely clean as......the hysterical thing is the seats all become sleepers and they are stacked up like triple bunks.  So after thoroughly frightening Sanjay telling him we all sleep naked.....heeee heeee I must give the poor guy a break - we bunked down for the night......welll THANK GOD for ear plugs....the old codger across from me snored and snorted for a while till I broke out the ear plugs.  No one wanted the top bunk so of course me in my usual "mother the pacifier" mode took the top bunk and prayed I didn't have to get down in the night to pee.....I would have probably have trodden on someone's face......had a crappy night's sleep - listening to everyone else shuffling and moving about and then just when you nod off some hero turns on a light somewhere.....rahhhhhhhhhhh!  We arrived around 6am in the morning - all of us still half asleep - I managed to get down from the bunk without disgracing myself.....The nightmare was that when the train pulled in to the Jaipur station everyone got on before we could all get off.....I mean, someone needs to speak with someone about queuing up......There were people everywhere. The seats were still in bunks.....bedding etc everywhere and then trying to get bags off the train with bodies clustered about......for God's sake.....too early in the morning for that kind of carry on.....we arrived at the hotel about 6.30am worn out from all the palaver......
