........Ok, its going to take more than the 7 mins that I have left in the Internet cafe to complete this section. Watch this space.

O is for obvious plastic surgery,

Ok, so a big theme to our lives when we are on holiday seems to be the A to Z game, introduced by Robin "School Teacher" Spencer on a ski trip to La Plagne many moons ago, so here goes:

A is for Arid Desert, the staple of our trip to California

B is for Barbie the Corvette, thanks Kyle, it certainly put a smile on our faces.

C is for Cable Car to the top of Palm Springs 8,500 ft above the desert

D is for Deserts meeting, Palm Springs interestingly enough is the meeting points of the Sonora (lots of Cacti) and Mojave (Joshua Tree) Deserts

E is for Escalating to factor 4 suncream

F is for Fun Fair on Santa Monica Pier, not fun and not fair

G is for Great hotel in Palm Springs, is it viable to do a 12hr flight to return for a week?

H is for Hunters, our favourite bar in Palm Springs

I is for Indiana Rob our new midwest dude always guaranteed us a laugh

J is for Joel the dancer

K is for Kyle, our fabulous NYC interior designer who will be setting off soon to come and change our lives

L is for the London Hotel in LA. 30s opulance and a Gordon Ramsey restaurant to boot

M is for Magic Mountain, I knew it would be a mistake taking Graham to the biggest theme park on the west coast, following him throwing up on me on a ride at V Festival in 2004!

N is for National Park, hiking in Joshua Tree was stunning, as one great observer noted, you can never have too many Cacti

O is for obvious plastic surgery, in abundance in California

P is for Pool, where we spent most of our time lazing

S is for Snow that we never expected to find in the dersert with the thermometer hiting 90 degrees out side

T is obviously for Tequila, but also for the wonderful Toronto Bob who made sure we didn't stray too far from the tracks on our nights on the town

U is for U-Turn, how did we end up in North America, we were supposed to be in Colombia right now

V is for Victory at 2 handed 500 for about the tenth time, wander if Graham has cottoned on to the fact that I cheat?

W is for West Hollywood welcoming us to their bars on a Sunday night

X is for X-ray specs, would be useful in "Hunters"

Y is for Yachting memories, fading quickly

Z is for Zeph in New Zealand, being nearly 3 months, I expect you are almost on a surf board

There.....phew
