We had been trying several of the so-called top restaurants and got fed up with the pile it high and don't forget to so over cook the vegetables that they have no colour, no texture, no flavour and no vitamins. Suddenly we came upon House Jazz in a street close to the theatre. Wow. A small, friendly restaurant with a fusion menu created by their chef Alexander Dementyev. The food is true gastronomy. A short menu but one that is prepared with skill. The waiters, led by the beautiful Tatiana (the architect and manager of House Jazz) are young, smartly dressed and very polite. For us it was the answer to a prayer. Best to book +351 933 454521 as it was pretty full.
