I love snowboarding and for the past 6 seasons, I've headed up to Tahoe and dragged anyone who would come along - coworkers, a reluctant boyfriend, friends who haven't put on a snowboard in 6 years, etc etc. This year, my friend Kara actually talked me into doing a 3 day Women's snowboarding camp. I did it last year and raved about it, but was a little hesitant to do it this year since it's a little spendy. However, Kara was so excited about it that I could not say no. So, we both took off work on a Friday, woke up at 4 am and headed down the snowy, windy, cliffy roads to Kirkwood. Oh, and they just so happened to get 8 feet of snow in one week.
