Under the Sea

We stayed in a condo on the south side of Maui, which is where the best diving is. We did eight shore dives off various beaches and two boat dives at Molokini Crater. We saw reef tip sharks, octopus, a manta ray, crabs, tons of sea turtles, several different types of eels and lots of colourful reef fish, including the humuhumunukunukuapuaa, Hawaii's state fish (also known as a trigger fish). And each dive, we heard the amazing sounds of humpback whales singing to each other under the water. Now that was cool!

We enjoyed diving with friendly turtles and humuhumunukunukuapuaa.
