Mixed thoughts on this location.....Va’Vau , Kingdom of Tonga.

Weather wasn't inviting - strong winds, cold and rain ensured we stayed for a week holed up in a safe harbour so sadly we did not explore outside of Va’Vau.

Highlights …..Sunday morning mass with amazing singing and stunningly dressed locals!!

A whale travelled with us for a few miles.

Lots of …..fellow sailors, restaurants, starving stray dogs and pigs, happy locals, red dirt,  church services, foreigners running businesses.

Very little…..wealth in community.
