We arrived in Prague in the late afternoon and we were tired so we didnt do much that night,we went out for a meal then headed back to the hostel bar where we sat and chatted with Dan and Jacob,two aussies and then had an early night.

The next day was our only full day in prague so we had alot to do,i wanted to go to Prague zoo so we went there and what a zoo it was.I think it is ranked as the 7th best zoo in the world.It was huge.Its come along alot since it was ravaged by floods 6 years ago.

Then we went into town and walked around the main square and decided to go an see the Torture museum which wasnt as scary as i had hoped.I was kind of hoping it would scare me but it was a bit of a let down.

Then in the evening we decided to have a big last night out,we met Tom,Dave,Rob and Fiona from england and they were going to a place called the Beer factory so we decided to tag along.

On the metro on our way to the beer factory Stacey felt really ill all of a sudden and we had to get off the train so that she could be sick and we said that we would catch up with the other guys later.Then when we were waiting to get back on the metro we met two canadian guys called Jamie and Tim,we decided to bring them along with us and we all headed to the beer factory.

When we got there the tables had beer taps on them and you just pour your own beer and pay for the total amount at the end.Tim and Jamie kept doing shots of absinthe but we held back for now.Then the most amazing thing happend.A young Czech guy and a german stag do all of a sudden started having a dance off and we couldnt believe what we were seeing.It was one of those moments when you had to pinch yourself.Utter hilarity.

Then we left and headed through town only to be hounded by the sex touts asking allsorts of wierd questions,Then we ended up in a club called acropolis which was a very scary place and i was looking forward to getting out but the absinthes we had been taking were keeping us there.

We finally got back and went to sleep.When we woke up it was the end of our eastern european trip and i was sad to be leaving but even though its good to go away its good to come home.I think i will be returning to eastern europe again in the future,when i dont know but until then i will have the memory of the three amazing weeks spent there in 2008.
