Olympia: Yard sales and Olive Garden

Went out to some yard sales around Olympia and Lacey today. For the people who don't know what they are (never heard of these myself before): people put an advertisement in the paper and they'll sell some of their stuff in their garage or yard. Apparently people would usually sell some nice stuff amongst the crappy other 2nd hand stuff, but alas, today we couldn't really find anything nice.

So after a couple of the yard sales we were getting hungry and decided to have lunch at the Olive Garden. Had to wait about 20 minutes in line before they gave us a table to sit at, but it was well worth it. Ordered a minestrone soup and salad, which they would both give unlimited refills of. And it tasted both very nice! The only bad thing I could think of was the cold air inside, it was a little chilly there. The waiter explained that it is hard to regulate the temperature inside as on hot days it would be hot very quickly. Didn't matter too much as the food was delicious!
