Hi guys,

As promised we visited the Taj Mahal on sunday (26th). Our day started a little hectically!!! We were suppose to leave the hotel at 6am but we didnt get a wake up call from reception so we got up at 5:55am when the porter knocked on our door to pick up our bags, so a mad rush ensued to get our stuff together!!!

We then had the craziest train journey ever, i swear half the population of Delhi got on the train, it was packed, and we had to travel in a non a/c carriage so we were with all the locals. To get out we had to throw our bags out a window and push past the crammed walk way!!!

When we did finally arrive at the Taj we were swarmed by the usual beggers and people trying to sell us stuff. All in all the Taj was as impressive as weve been told but the inside was tiny and a bit of a let down!!!

Today we arrive in jaipur and will be celebrating the dawali festival tomorrow which is a hindu celebration.

We'll try and put some pics up later, but its expensive to use the internet where we are at the mo.

Hope you're all ok, we'll blog again as soon as we can.

Love always Jonny and stacy xxx
