Well after a great sleep on the train i got up the next morning looking out the window at the Polish countryside.  After a couple of hours of moving along and me managing to lose and find my phone i arrived into Warsaw central station.  A polish dude who i was chatting to on the train helped my out by showing me where the ticket office was and explaining to the nice lady where i wanted to go to.  I would have had no idea as the station was huge and an absolute maze.

After that i found out that the Euro isn't used in Poland so i changed some cash to polish Zlotys and also realised that Lithuania is another currency again so i picked up some of those as i plan to spend a couple of days in Vilnius which i have heard is very nice.

There is a magnificent building in the centre of town that was a gift from Lenin and completed in 1955 know as the Palace of culture and science.

So then it was outside to go and check out Warsaw.  I was told by my Polish buddy that Warsaw was pretty much levelled during world war 2 and then rebuilt, which it really does show.  In comparison to other european cities this one does not look that old.  There is a magnificent building in the centre of town that was a gift from Lenin and completed in 1955 know as the Palace of culture and science.

I had a further walk around the city and saw the large central park however not looking its best in the middle of winter and found a supermarket to buy a few things for the train this evening.  Then after about 2 hours of searching i finally found an internet cafe and started writing my blog.

Well now i'm going to go off and find myself some dinner that is not a kebab as there seems to be hundreds of stores around and off on the train tonight to Vilnius, Lithuania.
