We did the long drive from Koln to Haarlem, roughly about 300km´s. Didnt take all that long as the autobahn helps out a lot. Upon arrival we found a smallish city based around a lot of canals and such. This proved a little hard to negotiate, then the bikes came, and came, and kept on coming. They have the right of way, and are everywhere!!! Even the right of way on round abouts too, cmon!!! Spoke to Lochy, whom we had come to catch up with and watch play baseball, found out he had training about 330ish, so managed to park and find a shop we cld purchase a map in, for 5 euros if u dont mind. Didnt know his park name and there where sports complexs all over the place, we ended up by luck landing at the 2nd complex we went to and there he is. Facility was first class, huge jump from the old GBC at home. Watched training with a beer from their clubhouse. The next day Lochy took us to Amsterdam, what a strange place, its all that you hear, but just really in your face when you see it. Went straight to the red light district as its the only place he knows! And there they are, ranging from over-weight black woman just terrible, to some real hotties that probably do quite well. Watched the baseball game, won easy and Lochy threw well. That nite was a big one, lots of beer at the club rooms, then off for a late nite feed at what has become LD´s favourite food, shoarma at Miami. Small salsa themed bar that has a great atmosphere and serves shoarma, similar to a yiros back home but its open and u put on ur own toppings, just sauces though, no 'healthy' rubbish. Had a beer here, plus a free one on the house. Woke up the next day with a sore head, well one of us anyway....
