Fletch's Hometown Visit

Sorry for the lack of communication. We had to pay a pretty pence to hook online in London . We are now south of London on the border to ... well to a body of water ... in a town called Brighton. My father-in-law grew up here and Fletch grew up in a town just north of here called Haywards Heath. We took a fun train ride south, then east, then west, then back on the south track to get here. We were starting to wonder if we were on the wrong train for a little while!!! We have done a lot of walking in London and are pleased to say we are not tired of it. It's nice and relaxing and the cold air seems to be just fine. We enjoyed a lot of the traditional sights such as Westminster Abbey , Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace , London Bridge, Tower of London & the bridge, Eye (the big ferris wheel on the Thames River) plus many many many tracks of the underground railroad commonly known as the "tube". We enjoyed our first day on a double decker bus freezing in the half open upper part. It was a nice 2 hour ride, though. We saw many sights on that tour! We plan on going back to London on the 31st to bring in the new year (hopefully with some friends of Mouse's) and will try to take the tour of the London Tower and a Jack the Ripper 2 1/2 hour walking tour. Fletch's tooth problem has not gotten better yet, so please continue to be praying for it. Nothing is more annoying than an annoying tooth while on vacation!!! I'm sorry I don't have pictures for you yet. We'll download some while we are here in Brighton to share with all of you.
