It was a glorious day and we had a usual leisurely start. After bidding our hosts farewell we headed for the second stint at Disneyworld. Our expectations from Magic Kingdom were that of some really kid focused rides. While everything was still aimed at 6 year olds, it was still a lot of fun.
For starters, it was huge once we realized how big the place was we had to really prioritize our 5 hours. We had heard about the "Its a small world ride" and it just went on to prove that adults can enjoy the most kiddish of things. The haunted house was awesome a really fun experience, especially some of the cool special effects and then the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, simply too cool.
I wish I was a kid again!!

And of course the beauty of the Cinderella's Castle, the ferry ride into the park and numerous shows made the trip unforgettable. While EPCOT was said to be more appropriate for adults, we both found Magic Kingdom to be so much more than what we expected of Disney, it was a fabulous, unforgettable experience. The icing on the cake was when we managed to catch the afternoon parade before we had to drive off. All the music and the frolic with all the well known characters, it was pure fun and made better by seeing all those kids so happy.

Again, using the Fast Passes made waiting periods shorter and we actually managed to check out a lot of things and have lunch before we left. We even managed to check out some of the future world attractions.
We took the monorail on the way to the parking lot and then drove on to catch our flight back to Seattle, awesome day. I wish I was a kid again!!
