Puerto Montt is an armpit of a city. It is dirty, and there's not much to do unless you like to wander aimlesly through shopping malls. We managed to sneak into the Yacht Club resaturant for a drink and dessert to watch the sunset. We failed to arrange kayaking, but Brian got a promise that we'd kayak among icebergs when we got to patagonia. Somehow we managed to spend 2 days there before escaping to Chiloe. Everybody on the bus!
