Well it started out as a nice day. It didn’t end so good. At breakfast, Tracy & me were talking about how nice of trip it has been. Good people, nice hotel & we were getting into the “on your own” days. Today we had the ATV. Tomorrow we are going to do the spa & then rent a Jeep and ride horses to the Natural Pool. Jeep & horses… my favorites! So the ATV’s... it was a lot of fun. We drove up to the California Lighthouse to have a great view of the island. Then we took off into the terrain. Everybody said that while I was having fun I wasn’t getting crazy. Well I don’t know why but my ATV started fishtailing! I remember flipping over the handle bars & being upside in the air. I landed very hard on my shoulder blade. I kept thinking, “I can’t let that thing fall on my leg”. Well it didn’t. When it was over everybody was trying to help. I thought I was ok. Then my shoulder tightened up. Uh oh! An ambulance came and took me to the hospital. I had broken my collar bone. So bummed! I feel really bad for Tracy. We were having such a nice trip. Sue called and my new “spread like wildfire”. Oh well… everybody has been really nice in trying to help me. We’ll see what we can salvage out of the trip. ARGH!
