So, we arrived 9.55am on Wednesday morning, after flighing out on Wednesday afternoon (Aussie Time). The fight was fine, slept most of the way and i was very refreshed when i arrived on Wednesday.

My first thought, as we flew over South San Fransico was the landscape, so many hills and different coloured bodies of water. This would be my first time in the United States and at this point the excitment started to grow.

Christmas songs in every shop, the streets decorated with christmas and the air fresh and cold (I LOVE IT).

On arrival we caught a cab from the airport, directly to the hotel, cost $45.00. We checked in then started our exploring of this unknown landscape.

Christmas songs in every shop, the streets decorated with christmas and the air fresh and cold (I LOVE IT). The one thing i have noticed, is Americans do Christmas SOOOOOO much better, it feels like it here..

So, we walked down Fishermans Wharf and the shopping begun (I LOVE SHOPPING).

3 days have now passed and i almost feel like a local, the people are nice and my experiance has been interesting and safe. Only once walking into the wrong part of town, but i got out of there very quickly!!!

I have explored all the areas that I have wanted to see, Golden Gate Bride (we walked there from Fisherman's Wharf, 1.5hrs), we visted Postcard Row, all the beautiful victorian homes. We have walked into Union Square from Fisherman's Wharf, 45min) and taken several rides on the cable cars.

The great thing about San Francisco is it is very easy to get around, walking is the thing. The people are great and VERY friendly. It has such a difference in coltures, with many people Asian. I was very interested to find this, I think my narrow minded view from the movies has played on my mind.

Shopping is not the best in San Fran, I havent found many bargains, maybe im not looking in the right place. So I have decided to hold off to New York and try my luck in the other states.

Well, the temp has dropped to about 10degrees and im freezing, but getting use to it. Which i will need too, because its alot colder in New York.

Tomorrow night we fly out of San Fran to New York at 10.30pm to arrive at 9.00am Christmas Eve morning. Im excited!!!

Well stay tuned and until next time... Wish you were here :)
