We got up at a decent time and hit the road. We were back in Tulsa by around 6:00 Sunday evening. The rest of the Race Gang stayed behind and actually got to see about an hour of qualifying at the Speedway, and then the rains came in again.
We only made 3 stops on the way back. That is the benefit of the only passengers being three grown men.
End of the Trip
It was a successful trip, even though we never got to see any racing. We had great conversation and quality time together. It is good to get locked in a car for 10 hours with your family sometimes.
