So much castle, so little time

On day 2 of our France trip, we toured the famous Chateau of Versailles.  The grounds are so vast; over 6,000 acres.  We rented a golf cart and it was well worth it.  Our favorite part of the Palace of Versailles was Marie Antionette's Hameau.  It was a "hamlet" that she built so that she could go and pretend that she was a peasant.  There are many buildings on the premises that are simple but architecturally beautiful.  The Palace of Versailles could easily take at least 3 or 4 days to see it in it's entirety. No detail was ignored on those grounds.

Hi Becky and Maddy, We liked the grounds a lot too. Someday, we would like to go at night when they have the fireworks.
