Melbourne in winter- a modern, vibrant city with iconic sporting stadia everywhere; MCG, Rod Laver Tennis Centre and Telstradome where Chris enjoyed his first Aussie Rules game- which ended very unusually in a draw!
We toured the city on the famous Melbourne trams enjoying some old familiar places- St Kilda, Brunswick Street and Vic Market, and exploring some new ones including Docklands and Federation Square where we visited the Ian Potter Gallery with its excellent Aboriginal art.

Chris played golf at Yarrambat with plenty of grey kangaroos on the fairways-they must have put him off because he came second again!
We walked amongst the ferns and towering eucalypts of the Dandenongs before spending a relaxing weekend at Ocean Grove, enjoying the wonderful vistas of the Bellarine Peninsula .
Best of all catching up with friends and enjoying their company and hospitality.
