(Helpful?) Tips for Travelers

-t-shirts: there will be too many (don't pack the extras as you will accumulate them along the way: my current new t-shirt count: 4)

-underwear: more is always better -stay at home items: your gigantic spare shampoo, family size sunscreen, chess set, lord of the rings trilogy and anvil (sorry, all cartoon punch-lines are out for this trip)

-necessities: "hope for the best, expect the worst"..rain coat, aspirin, Nalgene water bottle (this can doubly function as a num-chuck defense system if needed)

-buy the expensive socks (investing in a $15 pair may seem ridiculous but Smart Wool will save your life)

-a map and a compass ain't just for mountaineers. (why is it that the direction you're turned must be North)

-*be wary if your bag is bigger than you are*

Many of you may be wondering...why doesn't she post more pictures?? I want more pictures!! I must be visually stimulated in this multi-media bombarded world!! Yes it's true, reading does take more effort than checking out a sweet picture, and i would love to post all my pictures but the truth is that this website would take about 3 weeks to upload all my trip imagery and unfortunately i just don't have that kind of time. I'll do my best to post a few more and we'll all just have to get together for a massive travel-picture slideshow party (old school style...with a projector and everything), cookies and soymilk included...stories will be available upon request. And as for now...i'm off to see a show that is a rap-version of the Canterbury Tales...it really can't get better than that. Lets hope so because i'm walking through the rain for about a half hour to get to it. Seen some other great theatre since we last "spoke"...hopefully i'll have a bit more time later in the week to go into exciting details about life on (in) the Fringe.

Lindsay, Grandma and I were just reading your blogs. Sounds like you are having a fabulous time!! Grandma says she hopes you are not working too hard and that your blisters have now healed. Very cool that you were able to see relatives in Wales. I am jealous you had Welsh cakes!! I loved those things! Okay...travel safe and enjoy the rest of your time on the Fringe. Have fun with the p's as well! Love, Jenny and Grandma
