Slept late (go figure!) and headed out to see the town. What a great town (at least the Quarter)! The people are so nice and it's just a great city. We decided to got to Brennan's for breakfast. Oh man! So rich but soooo good. The bananas foster and strawberry crepes were incredible. We then went to do a little shopping (go figure). Jackson Square was busy. It was packed with vendors like before but I bet there was at least 50% full. There was a wedding walking down the street. The group was following a Dixie land jazz band and they were dancing. How fun! Well, except the guys in suits looked really hot. We then went to the casino. I tell ya Tracy is good at blackjack! It rained while we were in the casino but we didn’t care. HA! Headed back to the room for a break before dinner. Wendy and Kevin got in town. They are actually staying on the same floor as us. Tracy and me went to Galatorie's for dinner. Fun and good! I swear our waiter was Bobby Knight. He wouldn’t let us decide from the menu. He TOLD us what he was bringing us for an appetizer. Then he just asked us what kind of food we wanted. He then took the menus and told us how it would be prepared. He did good! HA! I have to say I’m tired of eating. Oh man. We have had all these heavy, rich meals and I’m totally full. Oh well. We then met Kevin and Wendy for a night on the street. Of course we went to Pat O’Brien’s. Again, a lot of people but not crowded. Piano bar was fun. Oh yeah… Eddie (the man with the silver tray) died 2 years ago. Bummer! It wasn’t the same without him. They played Tiny Dancer for Tracy and me and we danced. Great! We then went to some other bar and watched the ghetto dancers. It was like a train wreck. You just couldn’t stop watching the drunk, ghetto people. Well, we made it to bed about 5:00. Oh man.. that doesn’t make for a productive tomorrow!
Like a train wreck!
