July 7th, 2007 Okay, so I arrived to Killarney during the day of July 7th.  It was a bit confusing because in the tour book, it states the bus station is right beside the train station.  When I got out of the train station, there was a sign that said bus station "300 meters this way."  Now, the problem happened when there were no other signs telling which direction you should head.  Instead, I walked around, finally going back to the train station to ask where it was.  She had said it was behind the outlet mall on the other side.  I felt like a goof.  Then after I booked my ticket for my bus trip to Galway (for July 9th), I went to look for a taxi to my hostel (please read review).  I couldn't find one for the life in me.  I had to go back to the train station and get the wicket lady to call for me.  Finally, I got into my taxi and headed for the hostel.  Once at the hostel, I unpacked and got ready to take the free shuttle back into town to get something to eat.  I met up with another single traveler, Rob and we had dinner together at O'Connors.  It was finally nice to meet another person and have a conversation.  After which we headed back to the hostel.  I watched a movie that was playing and then headed to bed.

July 8th, 2007 I went on the Ring of Kerry Tour booked by the hostel.  It wasa great day.  We went to various locations, all of which I cannot remember the individual names, but will get them later.  We of course stopped at all the tourist locations but it was  nice.  We paid an additional fee to see the shepherd and his dogs round up sheep.  It was completely worth the money and a great experience.  We got back to the town centre of Killarney by 5pm.  It was a great day and I am happy I went and would have love to go again.  Please see some pictures for amusement.  The best part of the tour was that a gentleman, who would frequent the bar (older) shook my hand, told me I was beautiful and asked if I would call him tommorrow, to which I said yes, knowing I would never see him again.

Sounds like you're having a great time over there. Hmmmm.....lots of sheep in Ireland. Have you seen many golf courses?? I hear that there's all kinds of them over there. Have to finish my assignment, talk to you tomorrow.
