A relaxing time with my friends in Taiwan.

Taiwan

Taiwan is a place I wanted to go there, I've been watch the TV program showing so much good food in Taiwan, it makes me hungry for the food in Taiwan.

Not many chance to go holiday with a group of friends

Finally, few of my friends decided to go Taiwan, I was excited to go but some how, when I reach Taiwan, I don't like the place, I don't know why, can't tell why, may be it is another city life where I was disappointed on.

On our second day, we went to visit the “little world” where there were so many small structure of different parts of the world’s famous buildings, such like Beijing “great wall”, India “Taj Mahal”, etc. There were fun world area for children also; we have so much fun inside the whole day till it closed.

The next day, we meet up with another two friends (V & G friends), we travel down to “Hua Liang” had rented a bicycle and cycle around.

The next day (5 Nov'2002), we travel by train to another town, a small town away from city life, get some nature feeling. We had five adults and one child on this trip. We had walked very far to explore the nature and ended up at a temple, we visited the temple area and make a “U” turn, it was long walk, the little girl was too tired to walk further, I had carry her for a distance until we meet a lorry passed by us, stop and ask whether we want to take his lorry as transport all the way out, all of us were so happy to meet him, we were on board the lorry.

The two men were so kind to give us a ride, it was a construction lorry, we were seating on those construction equipments around, we were happy that we don't have to walk for so long to reach our hostel.

The next day (6 Nov'2002), our V & G friends were going to “Ali San”, it was very long distance traveling, we were afraid the little girl cannot take the distance (she had vomited) so we (3 adults and the little girl) decided to make our way back to Taipei. As for V & G friends carry out their trip to “Ali San”.

When we were back to city, we check in to a hotel, we explore the shopping center around us.

The next day (7 Nov’2002), we went to explore the area for hot spring, there were outdoor and indoor hot spring. The outdoor hot spring, no many people use it, it was to open area. As we went and choose which stall hot spring to go, we went to one have a big private room, four of us were enjoying our hot spring in the room, and it was like we were in a small swimming pool.

After our relaxing in the hot spring, we had a great dinner (Steam boat) in Taiwan and back to our hotel.

The next day morning, as it was our check out date, while we were taking turn to wash up, most of us were still on our bed, my “J” friend went to toilet to wash up.

Suddenly, earthquake, as I was on my bed, my eyes were open, I was wonder what happen, the whole building shake, can felt my bed moving too.

My “J” friend was wonder what happen too, she thought; she was still not awake, couldn't walk properly, going to fall inside the toilet, until she saw the phone cable shaking, then she realist it was earth quake.

When I knew it was earthquake, I was thinking whether to pack and go or what, before I shouted run, the earthquake stop (ha..ha..). This was our first time had experience earthquake.

Over all, I enjoy the time we were together, although I don't really like the place, I felt funny about the local people, when the traffic light turn green; I was walking across the road, those local people have to push me from behind. I felt that was really rude of them, if they were in a hurry, they can walk passed by me instead of pushing me from behind, I hate that.

If you ask me will I go to Taiwan again, most likely not, if I ever go to Taiwan again, it must be the time I want to visit “Gold Door” town.

In Taiwan, there was nothing impress me on, may be the weather, we felt good when the weather was cold, other than that, there was nothing special in Taiwan, this is my personal point of view only.
