Drove up to Coral Bay. Saw 4 more emus, they do not really stand still long enough to take a good picture.
Coral Bay is at the bottem end of the Ningaloo Reef, it is a very touristy place, only go here when you have lots of money! We drove back a ways to Cardabia Station there was some free camping spots here. It tok us a long time to get there through quite some testy roads (we had missed the sign that said 4wd only). But we got there and set up camp. The neighbour (yes, there were more crazy people here) gave us a chinese cod for supper it was delicious! He alsotold us there was a 8 ft shark chasing his fish as he reeled it in this mornng, so no swimming here.
what an undergroung garden

Well no one was in the mood too much for swimming the next morning as it poured and I mean poured all night. We were getting worried that we would be stuck here for a week. Thankful for neighbours, Ken told us an easier way to get back to the main road so we left our camper and decided to investigate Coral Bay.
We were wet any way so decided to se the reef on our own. You had to swim quite a ways out there to see aything but what an undergroung garden, the corl was huge. Some fluorescent blues and greens and the fish were red and big. We were parked next to some charter fisher people and watched them unload their catch, quite colourful.
