A little more on Versailles: It is hard to imagine how large the grounds are unless you have been there.  Even the Petit (aka small) Trianon is huge.  Our golf cart had an audio guide that gave us an overview of the grounds and then played French opera music.  There was a little coffee stand there so we grabbed an expresso and drove around.  It was so fun!! The golf cart is designed to stop if you drive onto a restricted area. It also will only let you drive in reverse. So if you want to turn around you can only drive in reverse.   Both of us felt that the map was confusing so a few times we made illegal turns and I am sure we looked like crazy tourists, which of course, we were.  Our next stop was Lyons la Foret
