Today we did a few things. We first went to the town of Bad Tolz and did some walking around there looking at things. There was a nice main shopping street and the Isar River ran right through town. On our way to Bad Tolz we stopped and ate at one of the most recommended restaurants in Germany, McDonalds. The Coke tastes a little different here than over in the states. It has less sugar. So it kinda tastes like a Diet Coke but better. They don't salt things as much either. Aaron says the Royal with Cheese was great.

I bought a lot of candy today to help feed everyone at work. The coolest thing are the chocolate eggs with toys on the inside. I ate one already... sorry folks.

We both had a Schnitzel, Ummmm... Schnitzel.

After walking next to the River and taking a break, we decided to drive down to Tegernsee. It is a big mountain lake that is about 40 kilometers around and has 4 towns surrounding it. It is big enough that it has its own ferry system to take you between towns. I guess it is where most of the rich Munich people have second homes. And they look it.

We walked around there for a while and ate at a German cafe. The cafe was at the water's edge and we had several friends looking for handouts (seagulls, sparrows and ducks). We fed them well. We both had a Schnitzel, Ummmm... Schnitzel. It came with Pomme Frites (french fries) and an awesome salad with some sort of Italian dressing. Ranch dressing is not common here. :(

After that we drove back to Lenggries and planned what we were going to do tomorrow in Munich.
