Le Debut

Bonjour tous le monde! Alors, je suis arrivee hier soir a Quebec City. Je prends les cour intensifs du francais pour les prochains cinq semaines!

Hello!!I arrived safe and sound in Quebec City last night, although I had a bit of trouble at the bus stop. La femme avec qui j`habite went to the wrong bus stop. I made good friends with the neighbourhood policeman however and he sorted everything out! I`m living with Mado, une femme Quebecoise, and a Ph.D student, Hyun-J who is from Korea. I was very nervous on the bus here but everything is working out well. I`ve already made several friends who will be in the same classes as me, and we went to the campus pub for lunch! Bon Appetit! I haven`t spoken tell de Francais my whole life!! C`est bon! I was placed in Intermediare Enrichi, the last intermediate course before Advanced (Wow!) J`espere que jètait bien place! Je devrais travailler tres fort!

I must be off now. We have to get our pictures taken for our ID cards. I will write more later in the week!
