1700 MT - We arrive at Saguaro National Park near Tucson. After a 10.00 (entire carload) entrance fee, we enter the 8-mile scenic loop. The cacti are everywhere you look, along with little cactusy "trees" and barrel cacti. Everything is barren and desolate, and yet, it's absolutely breathtaking. (Especially as the sun begins to set!) Rein and I go camera-happy, taking TONS of pictures. This has got to be one of my favorite places in the country now. It is amazing. Without a doubt, the highlight of our trip so far!
